San Luis Obispo is a magical place. It's actually the town I really fell in love with Chad so it is very near to both of our hearts. He was going to college there & we would roadtrip up & down the 101 to see each other, doing the whole long distance thing. That drive was always full of anticipation & excitement & for good reason! Chad would pull out all the stops when I would come visit - taking me to all of his favorite places, exploring the gorgeous SLO terrain & trying new food joints. It's such a fun, unique & quaint town. If you go, Splash Cafe is a MUST.
Chad met Eva when he was going to school there...she was fun-loving, artistic, sweet & beautiful. Chad would describe her as the girl nobody could get because she had a boyfriend. Well, it made sense when Eva introduced Ken to the group because he was her match in every way & the 2 of them made quite the dynamic pair. When Eva & Ken wrote asking us to be their photographers for their wedding in SLO, we couldn't believe our luck! Talk about a dream team of bride & groom, venue & vendors. We knew it would be an incredible, one-of-a-kind celebration....and we were right. Eva's perfectly boho, creative vision came to life at the Flying Caballos Ranch. From the handmade, gold-foiled vases, to the cigar box centerpieces & the skateboard seating charts, every detail was thought through & each element reflected the couple. I remember walking into the reception area & literally gasping because it truly was magical looking! Eva looked like a vision in her backless, vintage-inspired gown. Her bridesmaids mismatched, blush tone dresses were perfectly paired with eucalyptus crowns. The gents all sported denim shirts & khaki toned pants, while Ken rocked the most amazing, textural suit I have ever seen. I'm going to stop talking about it all because it doesn't do it justice & I can let the photos speak for themselves.
We had the honor of Rustic Wedding Chic featuring this wedding! Check it out... you can read a little bit more about the details of the day & some thoughts of the bride :)
