This family is so special to me. I first met Erica through a mutual friend at a Bachelor Finale Party & we immediately bonded over our love for Sean Lowe. We had both recently gotten married & neither of us had children yet...fast forward 4 years & this is the second newborn shoot I have been blessed enough to capture for her! I just love getting to be a part of such a special time for Mamas & families...every emotion that you have ever felt plus 8392 more of them all flood in & some threaten to steal the joy & wonder of first bringing your baby home. And because I have been there, I know the effort it takes to get your house clean, wash your own hair & swipe a few swipes of mascara over those sleep-deprived eyes on top of this thing called making sure you keep your baby (& toddler!) alive. But I know that Chad & I can help bless & love on the family for those few, short hours we are there. We brought Erica a latte, snuggled on Noah, played with Grayson in his teepee & soaked in the magic of that newborn smell...ok, that was only me. I honestly had a hard time focusing on my job sometimes. You guys. It's. SO. Amazing!!! Why has no one figured out how to bottle that up & sell it in bulk at Costco. I can't be the only one who would be all over that.
On top of handling the whole Mama-of-2 thing like a natural, Noah's nursery is just so adorable. Erica chose a woodland theme & the outdoor elements mixed with cozy textiles was a perfect contrast. They recently moved & their home is filled with incredible, natural light which was a dream for us! We spent most the time in their master bedroom, letting them all just snuggle together on their beautiful bed. Erica, you're doing an amazing job with your boys. We are so honored yet again to capture this time & freeze it for you & Ben to remember forever. Love you guys!
